George Newsom is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an accredited Mediator. He can be engaged through solicitors or directly by anyone else who wishes their differences to be resolved.

He accepts instructions as an arbitrator or mediator in disputes about property, land and buildings; covenants, easements, and rights of way; surveys and valuations; farms and churches. In addition he is willing arbitrate or mediate in engineering, computing and technology disputes.

His additional experience as a former consultant engineer and of farming provides a useful understanding of the practical realities of business disputes and agreements.

George Newsom is co-author of Faculty Jurisdiction of the Church of England (2nd Edition). He advises on ownership, rights, permissions and alterations of all churches and chapels; their contents, churchyards and burial grounds; and also local authority cemeteries.
