  • Delayed diagnosis of cancer.
  • Management of chronic illness in both primary and secondary care settings (e.g. liver disease, urological, renal and psychiatric conditions)

Selena continues to undertake fatal accident and personal injury work in addition to her clinical negligence practice, particularly where it involves complex medical issues. Recent cases involved acquired brain injury following a road traffic accident in an already psychiatrically compromised child and a fatal fall in a DIY setting.

Professional Discipline

Selena has many years of experience acting for health practitioners before the NMC and the HPC and she currently sits as a legal assessor on the MPTS (formerly known as the GMC).
