Each financial year Guildhall Chambers chooses a local charity to support.
For the 2018 / 2019 financial year, following the terribly sad news of the death of former member Robert Davies earlier in 2018 Chambers has this year chosen to support two charities which were very dear to Rob, Mind and The Woodland Trust.
The Woodland Trust
The Woodland Trust is the largest woodland conservation charity in the United Kingdom concerned with the creation, protection, and restoration of native woodland heritage. It has over 500,000 supporters and has planted over 41 million trees since 1972.

Mind is a mental health charity in England and Wales. Founded in 1946 as the National Association for Mental Health, it celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2016. Mind offers information and advice to people with mental health problems and lobbies government and local authorities on their behalf.
