Selena practises exclusively in clinical negligence, health disciplinary hearings and personal injury cases as well as sitting part time as chair on Mental Health Review Tribunals.
Selena’s practice is predominantly clinical negligence. Recent cases involved anaesthetic mismanagement, pulmonary embolism, pneumonia, bowel & urological injuries, cauda equina, birth injuries to mother and child, late diagnosis of cancers, and claims against GPs. She also specialises in personal injury work. Recent cases involved acquired brain injury, paraplegia, chronic pain, industrial disease, arising from RTAS, occupiers’ and employers' liability. She sits part time as chair on mental health review tribunals and regularly appears on behalf of nurses in disciplinary hearings. She is contributing author to the recent APIL Personal Injury loose leaf encyclopaedia.
