Matthew practises exclusively in personal injuries and clinical negligence. He has a broad practice covering EL, PL and RTA claims. He has recent extensive experience in industrial disease claims with success in a number of multi track claims involving complex issues of limitation. In addition Matthew regularly acts for Union funded clients and insurers alike at CICAP and DWP (Appeals Service) hearings.
Matthew has particular interest in the related areas of costs appearing in high value assessments with particular interest in CFA enforceability issues. He also regularly litigates in the field of ‘credit hire’ regularly appearing at first instance and in appeals.
Matthew is regularly commended for his approachable manner, robust advice and strong advocacy.
