Christy Farrer

Chief Executive

Christy Farrer joined Guildhall as Chief Executive in July 2017.

Christy is an experienced senior executive with over a decade of experience in senior roles in the legal and professional services sector, most recently as a senior Director at the Law Society in London. Prior to this Christy operated as an EMEA Divisional Director for a global business process outsourcing business working with EMEA and US legal and professional services businesses. Christy has also held senior roles in UK law firms, most recently DAC Beachcroft LLP. MBA qualified, Christy has a background in operations, transformation and change, specifically within the legal sector.

Christy has been working in London and internationally for the past four years but she and her family live locally in Bath and she very much welcomes the opportunity of working in her local community again and spending more time with her family.


 Julie Earwaker

Marketing & Events Executive

Julie joined Guildhall Chambers in 2009 and works closely with the Chief Executive to raise the profile and contribute creatively to the continued growth and development of chambers.

Julie has worked within the legal sector for the past 20 years as a PA, Paralegal and moved across in to a more marketing focused role when she joined Guildhall Chambers.

 


Sandra Dickens

Finance & Office Manager

Sandra joined Guildhall Chambers in 2007 and is responsible for the financial management of chambers. Sandra also manages the day to day running of our two buildings with the support and assistance of 6 staff members. Outside of work

Sandra enjoys going to the gym; holidays and is an avid and eternally optimistic Arsenal Fan.

 

 


Rebekah Stansbury

PA to CEO & Head of Chambers

Rebekah joined Guildhall Chambers in 2016 and is responsible for supporting the CEO and Head of Chambers in their work. Outside of work, Rebekah enjoys a range of creative pursuits from writing to painting which provides a nice balance to her more administrative role in the office!

 

 


Dan Cuthbertson

Fees & Admin Clerk

Dan joined Guildhall Chambers in 2007 as the Commercial Clerk, a position he undertook until Autumn 2013. Since then, Dan has changed role and is now Fees & Admin Clerk responsible for assisting team clerks in relation to administration duties such as billing fees, managing client care and chambers' diary system.

Prior to joining Guildhall, Dan worked as the Bristol Chancery Listing Officer clerking HHJ Weeks QC up to his retirement and then oversaw the arrival of HHJ McCahill QC.

In his spare time Dan is a self confessed film geek, avid reader of Charteris' The Saint books and Game of Thrones as well as a keen gamer.


Jude Harris

Fees Clerk

Jude joined Guildhall Chambers in November 1999.

Jude is responsible for the collection of fees and all related correspondence.

 

 


Julia Baddeley

Receptionist

Julia is a receptionist in our offices at 5-8 Broad Street and manages an efficient and friendly reception. Prior to working at Guildhall Chambers, she spent many years as a receptionist and general admin facilitator for solicitors firms. She thoroughly enjoys her role at Guildhall, holding a front of house position where she can welcome clients and visitors. Julia also looks after the registration of delegates for various Guildhall seminars and is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties in chambers. 

 


 Jackson Thomas

Office Assistant

Jackson joined Chambers in 2015 and has responsibiilty for a wide variety of administative duties in Chambers including; scanning, filing, faxing, collecting and delivering papers to court/solicitors and ordering stationary.
