Join Sophie and Kriti at The Radnor Rooms

Guildhall Chambers’ Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence team is delighted to invite you to our upcoming talk on the 18th of September at the Radnor Rooms, Bristol. It is entitled Patient autonomy and informed consent: where are we now? Presented by barristers Sophie Holme and Kriti Upadhyay.

Join Sophie and Kriti as they provide an overview of the legal principles. They will discuss the current law on consent in medical decision making, now that the dust has settled following the Supreme Court decision in McCulloch v Forth Valley Health Board. What are the implications for both patients and clinicians?

The talk will be followed by a practical workshop. This is aimed at both claimants and defendants. It focuses on issues and practice points that may arise in a clinical negligence context.

Finally, we invite you to join us for drinks and refreshments after the talk and workshop.

Spaces are very limited, so please CLICK HERE to book your tickets.
