Philip Philip

Philip is a specialist Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence practitioner, acting on behalf of claimants and defendants. He joined Chambers in 2018 after successfully completing his pupillage under the supervision of Anthony Reddiford.

Even at this early stage in his career, Philip has developed a busy practice both in and out of court. He is already valued by his instructing solicitors for the comprehensive and punctual nature of his work.

Personal Injury

Philip is developing a busy Personal Injury practice, and he is often in court up to 4 or 5 times each week. He represents both claimants and defendants in a range of matters, including:

• Road Traffic Accidents
• Employers’ Liability
• Occupiers’ Liability
• Highways Act claims
• Public Liability
• Fundamental Dishonesty / Low Velocity Impact

In addition to his court practice, Philip has a rapidly growing paperwork practice. He has experience advising on liability, quantum, Part 36 offers and procedural issues in fast-track and low-value multi-track matters.

Philip is willing to work on a nil-uplift CFA basis where appropriate.

Clinical Negligence

Philip was exposed to a wide variety of clinical negligence work during his pupillage. He considered issues including delayed diagnosis of cancer, negligent operative technique, and substandard peri- and post-operative care.

Since completing his pupillage, Philip has been instructed on several clinical negligence cases and this is a growing area of his practice. He is able to leverage his qualification as a doctor to provide insightful and comprehensive advice in complicated factual scenarios.

Philip is willing to work on a nil-uplift CFA basis where appropriate.
