Anna joined Chambers in October 2020 after successful completion of her specialist employment and discrimination pupillage under the supervision of Douglas Leach.
During her pupillage, she gained experience in all aspects of practice in the fields of employment and discrimination law, including associated matters in civil proceedings.
She is already building a busy practice in this area and has been commended on the thoroughness of her work and the maturity of her advocacy.
Anna takes instructions in all areas of employment and discrimination law, acting for both claimants and respondents.
She welcomes instructions in related fields, such as matters before the Special Educational Needs (“SEND”) Tribunal and civil Equality Act claims.
Anna takes instructions to appear in the civil courts in a broad range of matters, such as small claims and Stage 3 hearings.

In addition, she has worked as a research assistant in the field of contract law, including work on Chitty on Contracts, and contributed to two reports on the health and safety of culturally and linguistically diverse workers for WorkSafe (New Zealand’s health and safety regulator) and the New Zealand Accident Compensation Corporation.
