Manon joined chambers in November 2021 following the successful completion of her specialist Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence pupillage under the supervision of Gabriel Farmer.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Manon worked as a case holder in the Government Legal Department, Ministry of Defence. Manon also worked as a paralegal to a QC specialising in catastrophic Personal Injury and Costs.
Manon is a member of the Government Legal Department Junior Junior Scheme and is regularly instructed on a broad range of matters by the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Justice. For clearance details please contact Manon’s clerks.
Manon is a fluent Welsh speaker and is happy to accept instructions in the Welsh language.
Manon is developing a busy Personal Injury practice and regularly appears for both Claimants and Defendants in a range of matters such as Road Traffic Accidents, Occupiers and Employers’ Liability and Highways Act claims. Manon is routinely instructed on Fast Track trials, Stage 3 hearings, Credit Hire, Small Claims, Infant Settlement approvals and applications.
During her pupillage, Manon observed several inquests and was exposed to a breadth of high value personal injury paperwork. She regularly drafted pleadings, position statements, advices on liability and quantum as well as Schedules and Counter Schedules of Loss. Manon has a particular interest in Costs, having assisted in advising on the validity of Part 36 Offers, fixed costs recovery, QOCS and set off.
At this early stage in her career Manon is already developing a wide Clinical Negligence paperwork practice. Manon has been instructed on a range of cases such as delayed diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder and neuropsychiatric injury arising from chemoprophylaxis.
