Nicholas Lee is now available for instructions

28/03/2019

Nick has been with the Crime team since October 2018 and has seen a wide range of defence and prosecution work with pupil supervisor Mary Cowe.

After a legal education spanning Manchester and Florence, Nick worked as a paralegal for a legal aid firm in London, regularly attending Court, advising clients, and curating the significant amounts of paperwork which criminal cases now generate. Nick considers that this was an invaluable insight into dealing with vulnerable clients and the importance of genuine teamwork between counsel and solicitors.

A little unusually, Nick has already received some instructions in his first six in relation to a noting brief in a murder case and so he has hit the ground running! He is very much looking forward to his second six, and having recently been awarded the Gray’s Inn Mould Scholarship for exceptional merit as a pupil and potential as an advocate, the Crime Team are all looking forward to seeing him on his feet too.

If you would like to discuss instructing Nick (or any of our other members) please don’t hesitate to contact one of the team teams clerks (Lucy Northeast or Grant Bidwell) either by phone on 0117 930 9000 or email.
