Criminal Legal Aid Fighting Fund

Guildhall Chambers has made a financial contribution to the Fund for Judicial Review of the MoJ’s proposed new process for solicitors tendering for Criminal Legal Aid ‘Duty Provider Contracts’.

The Criminal Courts Solicitors’ Association (CLSA) and the London Criminal Courts Solicitors’ Association (LCCSA) are applying for judicial review of the MOJ’s recent decision to proceed with the Legal Aid ‘Crime Duty Tender’ process. The Law Society is also proposing a similar but separate action.
