Brittany has had an exceptionally impressive “first six” in Chambers and we are confident that she will be a first class addition to the junior end of the team during the remainder of her pupillage.
Since joining Chambers in September Brittany has been under the supervision of Matthew Wales during which time she has undertaken excellent work for the members of the Property and Estates Team. Brittany has also been exposed to the full range of work undertaken by the team in property, trusts and probate matters including attending tribunal hearings, trials and interim applications.Since moving to the UK in 1999 Brittany has been based just over the border in South East Wales. She initially studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Hertford College, Oxford, where she graduated with an upper second. Brittany went on to complete her law conversion and the Bar Professional Training Course at Cardiff University. In respect of the latter, Brittany was awarded the Baron Dr Van Heyden de Lancey Prize by Middle Temple in recognition of her achieving the (joint) top score of all Middle Templers at Cardiff.
Outside of work, Brittany is a dedicated gym-goer and novice golfer. Brittany also enjoys travelling, particularly to her native Namibia and the surrounding area, and has a strong interest in conservation projects in the region.
Brittany is now available for all civil work. We are, however, keen to encourage our clients to take advantage of Brittany’s specialist pupillage within the Property and Estates Team as we are confident that she will provide first class representation at the affordable rates appropriate for a pupil.
