Insolvency Seminar Bristol @ The M-Shed

05/12/2016

We have moved! This year Guildhall’s annual Insolvency Seminar will be held just over the river at the M-Shed on Thursday 12 May 2016.

For the first time the day will include a choice of focused workshops run by team members with external specialist IPs and lawyers, including a workshop led by Samantha Palmer on distressed law firms.

Chief Registrar Baister will be overseeing events and we are also delighted to welcome guest speakers from DLA Piper, Verisona Law and Bedel Cristin, who will be joining Hugh Sims QC and other members of the Insolvency Team to look at key developments in insolvency law, including an analysis of the decision in Stevensdrake v Hunt and an IP’s personal responsibility to pay legal fees where there is success under a CFA but no recovery. Administrations, claims against offshore trusts and the latest developments on the cross over between matrimonial law and bankruptcy are all addressed.

Don’t miss out on the definitive annual conference tailored for corporate and personal insolvency solicitors and IPs.

The conference is accredited with 5 CPD points (Training reference: 1383).
