Simon Passfield has been appointed as a Deputy Insolvency and Companies Court Judge

Chambers is pleased to announce that Simon Passfield has been appointed as a Deputy Insolvency and Companies Court Judge (ICCJ) by the Lord Chief Justice.

Simon is the head of our specialist insolvency team and undertakes litigation and advisory work in all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency law. He has been consistently recognised as a leading junior in this field by the legal directories and has appeared in more than 30 reported insolvency cases.

ICCJs are specialist judges and form part of the Business and Property Courts (B&PCs) (Chancery Division). They are based in the Rolls Building, London.

Simon will sit on a part-time basis and will continue to practise from Guildhall Chambers in Bristol and London.
