Ross Fentem and Jay Jagasia of Guildhall Chambers would be delighted if you would join them over breakfast to discuss Tax Mitigation Schemes and FOS Jurisdiction. They will consider:

  • The FOS’s powers to consider complaints about tax mitigation & investment schemes and the jurisdictional arguments that are commonly employed by respondents
  • The FOS’s powers to decide its own jurisdiction
  • The effect of FOS decisions
  • The court’s powers to interfere with FOS decisions
