Guildhall’s Personal Injury Team are pleased to present their annual seminar for Defendant lawyers, insurers and claims handlers at the M-Shed, Bristol on Thursday 11th June 2015. It will be a free of charge, full-day seminar with presentations on workplace violence and bullying claims; EU law and RTA claims; an insurers dilemma following Hayward v Zurich; accounting in PI claims and a pensions update – both presented by Ralph Chatfield of Grant Thornton, ending with a Quantum update followed by drinks on the terrace.
The seminar will also include a workshop covering ‘tips and tactics in defending quantum and drafting counter-schedules’.
Comprehensive written materials, refreshments and lunch will be provided.
This annual event is usually heavily over-subscribed and so whilst we will do everything we can to accommodate all who wish to come, we regret it may be that we will be unable to do so. Cancellation
Provided notice is received at least 48 hours before the seminar, the seminar fee will be refunded less a £20 (+VAT) administration charge.
CPD Accreditation
Under the Law Society’s CPD scheme and the Bar Council’s New and Established Practitioners’ Programme the conference is accredited with 5.5 CPD points (ID reference number: 1383). The seminar will also contribute to CPD requirements under the terms of the ICAEW’s CPD policy.
