We have adopted a specialist team approach to our practices for many years. We feel that this is the way our clients want us to work, and that specialisation leads to the provision of a better service.

Now that award season is over and the listings for Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 have now been released, we would like to share some of the notable successes from the last 12 months.
Firstly, Guildhall Chambers would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have instructed us over the last 12 months, especially to all who gave up their time to be interviewed and give such positive feedback to researchers.

Chambers & Partners
We had a total of 59 barristers and 92 recommendations in this years’ directory, maintaining the high levels of previous years, despite 3 members with established practises moving on to new ventures.
A notable highlight was Hugh Sims QC, being recognised as a “Star at the Bar” within a year of being appointed silk.
He is an acknowledged leader in banking and finance, commercial litigation, company and partnership cases, with sources lauding him as being “brilliant in court, technically incredibly reliable, supportive and great to work with” and as an “understated, first class advocate who has the ear of the judge.

“I am delighted that the work of the members of Chambers, supported by our first-rate staff, has again been recognised by the leading directories. Not only have we been awarded a very large number of recommendations but, equally importantly, analysis shows that we rank highly in the proportion of members who have gained awards, demonstrating that Chambers has excellence across the board. It is particularly gratifying to see that the people that have only recently joined us are already being singled out as outstanding practitioners.”
