Claims against landlords: defective premises and the duty to repair.
Claims against landlords can often involve technical questions of law. What is meant by, for example, the duty to repair, and will that duty be under fresh scrutiny post-Grenfell? This talk will review the principles that govern the duties owed by landlords towards tenants (and non-tenants), and seek to give some practical guidance along the way.

Furthermore, secondary victim claims can often become all the more complicated when the injury occurs in a medical setting. This talk will focus on what is necessary to bring and defend these types of claims, as well as provide a recap on the law around secondary victims more generally.
These Breakfast Bite sessions are usually over-subscribed so spaces may be limited and numbers restricted per firm.
