Alistair Haggerty involved in the prosecution of two brothers for conspiracy to murder

Alistair Haggerty (led by James Ward) prosecuted two brothers for conspiring to murder their 16 year-old victim, who they had pursued and stabbed multiple times on St Gabriel’s Road in the Easton area of Bristol.

On the ninth day of the trial, before HHJ Blair QC at Bristol Crown Court, the defendants, who had previously denied any involvement in the crime, pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. They received prison sentences of 14 years and 3 months, and 11 years and 4 months, respectively.
