Oliver Manley secures multiple findings of dishonesty following a three day multi-track trial

Oliver Manley has secured multiple findings of dishonesty following a three day multi track trial heard in Nottingham with judgment being handed down last month.

The claim was brought following an accident at work where the claimant claimed she had suffered from a back injury and a torn meniscus in her knee. The judge found that the claimant had grossly exaggerated her symptoms and misled medical experts as to her pre-existing conditions and an early road traffic accident on numerous occasions.

Oliver successfully secured an order for costs and permission for the removal of QOCS protection in light of the findings that the claim was fundamentally dishonest. The claim was also dismissed on its merits.

Oliver is grateful to the legal team and insurer client for their hard work on this case.
