We have adopted a specialist team approach to our practices for many years. We feel that this is the way our clients want us to work, and that specialisation leads to the provision of a better service.

21/10/2020
Due to the impact of the current C-19 restrictions it is not possible for us to host our usual annual conference on 21 October 2020 so instead we are converting the intended content into a series of webinars, starting off, on 21 October 2020, with (1) a keynote introduction from HHJ Russen QC, the Bristol Circuit Commercial Court Designated Judge, which will be followed by (2) a procedural update focused on the Disclosure Pilot (see below). In the weeks that follow, we intend to cover further substantive and procedural aspects of commercial law – please look out for emails on those.
The Disclosure Pilot: charting a course through the recent case law
PD51U – the Disclosure Pilot has been mandatory (subject to a few exception) in the Business and Property Courts since 1 January 2019. The last several months have seen a marked increase in the number of judgments which analyse and interpret the provisions of the Disclosure Pilot.
In this 45-minute webinar, Stefan Ramel and Govinder Chambay will chart a course through those recent cases, which consider issues such as known adverse documents, the selection of an appropriate disclosure model, and drafting the list of issues for disclosure. In addition, Stefan and Govinder will also summarise the recent proposed amendments to the Practice Direction and the DRD by the Disclosure Working Group.
Please complete the booking form below should you wish to register for your free place.
You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt. Joining instructions will follow in due course, usually within 24 hours of the webinar.
(Please note that all our webinars are recorded and uploaded to our YouTube channel with a link accessible via our website. Therefore your name as a participant may be viewable or audible)
