BVI Bar call for Hugh Sims KC and Simon Passfield KC

Guildhall Chambers’ Hugh Sims KC and Simon Passfield KC have each been called to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) bar. They are also admitted to practise as a Barrister of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court by the Honourable Madam Justice Sonya Young at hearings on 27 June and 29 July 2024. 

Charles Goldblatt presented Hugh’s petition for admission to the BVI Bar. While André Sheckleford, from Conyers Dill & Pearman’s British Virgin Islands (BVI) practice, presented Simon’s.  We are enormously grateful for their support, as well as for the considerable assistance of Conyer’s Delphine Bryan and Matthew Brown.

Simon Passfield KC is a specialist insolvency silk. Who undertakes litigation and advisory work in all areas of insolvency and restructuring law. Simon became King’s Counsel this year.
