Alice Reeves is a barrister practising across the Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, and Court of Protection teams. She completed her pupillage in October 2025 under the supervision of Oliver Moore.

Alice accepts instructions in Fast Track, Intermediate Track, and Multi-Track cases, and regularly acts for both Claimants and Defendants.

Alice is experienced in drafting pleadings, providing advice on both liability and quantum, and preparing infant settlement advice. Alice is regularly instructed in Fast Track trials involving personal injury claims, allocation hearings, and a wide range of interlocutory applications.

Alice has developed a broad and busy practice, including drafting advice and pleadings in a construction accident involving multiple defendants, successfully beating a Claimant’s own Part 36 offer at a Fast Track trial, resulting in the recovery of over £13,000 in costs, and has reduced a £9,500 credit hire claim to a £230 loss of profit. In the Court of Protection, she has appeared on behalf of the Official Solicitor in a Section 21a hearing.

Expertise

Alice has a busy personal injury practice and is regularly instructed on behalf of both claimants and defendants in a wide variety of cases. 

Alice is frequently instructed both at trial and on interlocutory applications, including for relief from sanctions. Alice is experienced with advising on quantum.

Alice has a strong interest in Clinical Negligence work and is growing her practice in this area. During pupillage, Alice built on this further drafting pleadings and advices.

Alice has an academic interest in Clinical Negligence; her undergraduate dissertation focused on the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court decisions in Paul and another (Appellants) v Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust titled: ‘What is the meaning of ‘temporal spatial proximity’ in defining what constitutes a ‘relevant event’ in a secondary victim claim arising from clinical negligence?

Alice has a strong interest in Court of Protection work and is growing her practice in this area, she gained experience of this work during her pupillage with time spent with Kriti Upadhyay.

Alice has a strong interest in Inquest work and is growing her practice in this area, she gained experience of this work during her pupillage.
