Nicholas Nicholas

Nicholas completed his specialist commercial and property pupillage in October 2019. His pupil supervisors were Holly Doyle and Michael Selway. During his first six months, Nicholas saw a range of work across his supervisors' areas of practice, including in company law, financial services, insolvency, real property, landlord and tenant, trusts, wills and inheritance. He also assisted another member in the Court of Appeal on a complex case concerning fencing rights. In his second six, Nicholas has completed several commercial cases involving breach of contract, commercial leases, guarantee and indemnities and has recently advised on a claim concerning a transaction defrauding creditors.

Prior to starting pupillage, Nicholas worked as a county court advocate for a national firm. He therefore already has significant experience in hearings involving mortgage possession, landlord and tenant, consumer credit, personal insolvency and small claims (including disputes involving contractual interpretation). Nicholas also attended numerous interlocutory applications, including for summary judgment, strike out and to set aside judgments.
